Queensland coach Kevin Walters shared his thoughts on the team selected to take part in Holden State of Origin Game III next week.

The Suncorp Stadium decider will see two new faces come into the side in Ben Hunt and Cameron Munster - with both players having already been around the team in this year's campaign so far.

Walters also acknowledged the contribution of Johnathan Thurston and Darius Boyd to this year's series; with both having been injured in the Game II victory in Sydney.

He said while it would be difficult to replace them - the team had some good depth in those positions.
