It has been a busy time so far for the Australian Jillaroos who entered camp earlier this week in preparation for this Friday's Test match against the Kiwi Ferns.
Yesterday, it was announced that Harvey Norman had signed on to be a naming rights partner for the team in a great boost for the women's game.
They were presented with their playing jerseys yesterday, and also attended an Anzac luncheon along with the Ferns, Kiwis and Kangaroos where NRL.com.au caught up with skipper Steph Hancock (video above).
The Jillaroos v Kiwi Ferns match will be one of three fixtures at Suncorp Stadium on May 1.
The New Zealand and Australian Defence Force clash will kick off the action, with the Women’s game to preview the 2015 ANZAC Test between the Kangaroos and Kiwis.
In a further showcase of women and girls in rugby league – four Under 13 sides (from across Brisbane) will play demonstration games during the halftime break of the Jillaroos v NZ Kiwi Ferns match.
The teams will be: Waterford (Green and Gold) v Pine Central Holy Spirit (Red, White and Blue) and Norths Ipswich Tigers (Blue and Gold) v Logan Brothers (Green Gold and White).
The women's game will be lived streamed from Suncorp Stadium via nrl.com at 5.20pm (AEST) on Friday, May 1, 2015.
