The Central Queensland Capras have aimed to sign quality local talent to strengthen their squad for next season with Matt Minto heading the list of gains for 2015.
Their focus has been to target local players who have left the area and entice them back home to the region. Minto – a Norths Knights junior – will be joined by fellow Rockhampton local Javarn White.
The experienced Russell Aitken, who has played NRL and overseas in France, has also signed and will be a senior figure at the club.
A number of players from the local league have been given the opportunity to make their mark in the Intrust Super Cup competition next year.
The club have strengthened relationships with feeder club Brisbane Broncos and are looking forward to improving their results next year.
