The Souths Logan Magpies have cast a wide net in preparation for next season, with their new recruits coming from places as diverse the United Kingdom, Sydney and regional Queensland.
However, former junior and Queensland Under 18 and Under 16 representative Scott Doyle will be coming home to Davies Park with second rower returning from Canberra to the Magpies.
Other notable additions include young Welsh international Ollie Olds from the Ipswich Jets and junior sprint star Jordan Tighe (Cairns).
Unfortunately, injury will prevent one of the Magpies’ more consistent performers in Leon Panapa taking the field, while another stalwart of the 2014 season Darcy Wright has announced his retirement.
The Magpies will also begin their new association with the Brisbane Broncos next season after previously being affiliated with the Canberra Raiders.
