The XXXX Queensland Maroons will take part in a series of activities in Longreach tomorrow as part of their annual Fan Day.
The bumper day’s program, which includes a street parade, luncheon and coaching clinic/autograph session, promises to be a unique experience for rural fans and the Maroons alike.
The region has been abuzz ever since the QRL announced the team’s visit to Longreach in March.
The majority of players selected in the XXXX Maroons squad assembled in Brisbane earlier today.
After tomorrow’s Longreach visit, Meninga’s Maroons will head to the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove to launch their preparations for Game 2.
The Maroons are scheduled to hold an opposed session against the Queensland Under 18 team at Sanctuary Cove on Sunday morning, before flying to Sydney later that afternoon.
The first stop in Sydney is a Fay Day at the Moore Park precinct. Camp Maroon will then be based at Brighton for two nights, before the team heads to Parramatta on Tuesday with the captain’s run pencilled in for that afternoon at ANZ Stadium.
