Brisbane Tigers are locked in to play two of the three junior representative grand finals at Totally Workwear Stadium this Saturday after a successful semi-final assault.

The Tigers scored a 38-14 victory over the Tweed Seagulls in the Harvey Norman Under 17 semi-final, with Ebony Tziros crossing for a crucial first-half double.

They will now go head to head with the Sunshine Coast in this weekend’s decider after the Falcons edged out the Central Queensland Capras 20-16.

Falcons winger Kirra Pamenter scored two tries in the thrilling victory.

The Tigers will also run out in the Harvey Norman Under 19 final after their 28-12 victory over the Seagulls.

Standing in the Tigers’ way is the in-form Western Clydesdales, who scored five tries to two in their 24-8 semi-final win over the Mackay Cutters at BB Print Stadium.

The Cyril Connell Cup grand final between the Burleigh Bears and Mackay Cutters will split the two Harvey Norman girls’ finals on a bumper match-day program.

Burleigh booked their spot with a nail-biting 24-20 victory over the Wynnum Manly Seagulls.

Bears centre Kingston Seve scored in extra-time to break open the 20-20 scoreline.

In the other semi-final, Cutters star Will Hamblin crossed for a hat-trick of tries as Mackay raced away with a 40-10 win over the Falcons.
