Central Queensland Capras 60 def Western Clydesdales 22 at Rockhampton Brothers

The Capras delivered a dominant performance, showcasing their attacking prowess with multiple try-scorers, including the impressive Mason Broadhurst, Banjo Walker, Zakkaree Jenkyn, and Callum Denman all crossing the line twice.

Isaac Walker’s exceptional kicking further cemented the win - displaying a potent offence that poses a significant threat for the backend of the season.

Brisbane Tigers 24 def Mackay Cutters 22 at Mackay Junior Rugby League Grounds

In a nail-biting encounter, the Brisbane Tigers handed the Mackay Cutters their first loss of the season.

With key contributions from Quinn Timperon and Jackson Connor, the Tigers held their nerve in a thrilling finish, edging out a previously undefeated side in a tightly contested match.

Norths Devils 38 def Northern Pride 12 at Bishop Park

The Norths Devils cruised to a comfortable victory, fuelled by strong performances from Lachlan McCall and Ryan McPherson.

With Kurt Jones having a decent day off the tee, the Devils demonstrated their attack and solidified their place in the standings while limiting the Northern Pride to just two tries.

Souths Logan Magpies 46 def Sunshine Coast Falcons 10 at Davies Park

The Magpies showcased an impressive offensive display, highlighted by multiple try-scorers, including Finn Kendall and Siosaia Poese who both collected two tries.

David Bryenton’s accurate seven-from-eight goal-kicking added to their commanding lead as they overwhelmed the Falcons, underlining their intentions to future opponents as the season nears its crucial stages.

Townsville Blackhawks 38 def Wynnum Manly Seagulls 14 at BMD Kougari Oval.

The Townsville Blackhawks grabbed victory with a strong team effort, led by Bruce Baudu’s two tries and followed by an offensive onslaught from the rest of the team.

The Blackhawks showcased their depth and skill, leaving the Seagulls struggling to keep pace throughout the match.

Only three games were played due to weather conditions in the Harvey Norman U19s competition over the weekend that led to the abandonment of two matches.

Tweed Seagulls 26 def Wynnum Manly Seagulls 14 at Piggabeen Sports Complex

In a competitive matchup, the Tweed Seagulls secured a solid win over the Wynnum Manly Seagulls who are still looking for their first win of the season.

The Tweed Seagulls proved their offensive capabilities were only getting stronger as they head towards the final games of the season. 

Wynnum Manly fought hard but fell short against the Seagulls’ strong offence.

Souths Logan Magpies 20 def Western Clydesdales 12 at Marsden State High School

The Souths Logan Magpies edged out a tight victory against the Western Clydesdales in a match characterised by strong defence and strategic plays.

Amanii Misa and Seini Piutau each scored tries to lead the charge.

The Clydesdales put forth a commendable effort but couldn’t match the Magpies’ scoring push in the second half.

Sunshine Coast Falcons 34 def Ipswich Jets 22 at North Ipswich Reserve

In an exciting game, the Sunshine Coast Falcons soared to a convincing victory against the Ipswich Jets.

Dianne Ladewig’s two tries were pivotal, bolstered by Deena Budby’s three successful goals.

Ipswich fought valiantly with tries from Pauline Too, but the Falcons’ robust performance ensured they remained in control throughout the match.

Burleigh Bears 36 def Brisbane Tigers 6 at UAA Park

Harvey Smith also impressed with a perfect 100% kicking performance, securing a convincing win for Burleigh as they pushed for crucial points heading into the finals.

Norths Devils 46 def Redcliffe Dolphins 14 at Bishop Park

Norths delivered a resounding victory led by Elijah Rauluni and Lincoln Dalton’s hat-tricks.

The Dolphins managed to amount a fight against the Devils however, their three tries wasn’t enough on the day.

The Devils performance solidified over the weekend solidified their position in the close points race.

Brisbane Tigers 20 drew Souths Logan 20 at Magpies Leo Williams Oval

In a thrilling encounter, both teams fought hard all game, resulting in a draw. 

Kingsley Bray, Zane Platt and Toetu Misipati Toetu each crossed the line for the Tigers, followed by a back-and-forth contention from the Magpies who saw retailiation from Semuela Naleba, Jeremiah Toko and Cordell Kirk.

The match saw some tense moments, which led to both teams sharing the points. 

Sunshine Coast Falcons 22 def Ipswich Jets 14 at North Ipswich Reserve

The Falcons rallied for a solid victory, with key tries from Kaio Moses and William Joyner.

Taj Kuhl’s three conversions were crucial.

Ipswich’s efforts were led by Kaewen Blaine’s two tries, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a determined Sunshine Coast side.

With Round 7 now wrapped up, the Harvey Norman U17s competition is heating up as teams push towards finals.

The Central Queensland Capras remain unbeaten, while the Brisbane Tigers and Souths Logan Magpies are close behind.

Wet weather caused multiple game cancellations making every remaining match crucial in the race to the top.

Tweed Seagulls 36 def Wynnum Manly Seagulls 12 at Piggabeen Sports Complex

Tweed Seagulls dominated with Diamond Graham leading the charge, overwhelmingly scoring four tries.

Torah Luadaka also crossed the line twice. Despite a strong effort from Wynnum Manly, with Pascalle Tuvale and Te Heihinapouri Mark both getting over the line, Tweed’s attacking firepower secured a decisive win.

Redcliffe Dolphins 18 def Norths Devils 10 at Bishop Park

Redcliffe Dolphins secured a solid victory, driven by a total of four tries being scored by just two players.

Ofa Kalauata and Kanisha Green were on fire as they packed the points on for their team, while Mya Tronc added a single goal.

Norths Devils fought hard, with tries from Simaima Vainga and Paige Stagg, but Redcliffe’s consistency and defensive efforts proved the difference.

Brisbane Tigers 18 drew Souths Logan Magpies 18 at Leo Williams Oval

A thrilling draw saw both sides battle intensely.

Laylah-Ali Ioane, Carayanidis Ta’Akimoeaka-Pulu, and Enah Desic led the Tigers’ charge, with Desic adding 3 crucial goals to match Souths points.

Souths Logan responded with a strong team effort, featuring tries from Bella Alo, Mamele Misa, Jada Waerea, and Elisa Asomua. Janique Mili’s goal ensured an even result.
