Queensland Rugby League has today confirmed the following changes to its junior representative schedule for the weekend of March 29-30.
Tweed Seagulls v Norths Devils
The Harvey Norman Under 17 and Cyril Connell Cup matches have been cancelled. The Harvey Norman Under 17 match will be deemed a 0-0 draw. A decision on whether the Connell Cup match will be rescheduled is yet to be determined.
Townsville Blackhawks v Northern Pride
Due to the unsafe state of the playing fields and surrounds, the deferred matches between Townsville Blackhawks and Northern Pride in Harvey Norman Under 17, Harvey Norman Under 19 and Cyril Connell Cup (presented by Ford) and have been abandoned this weekend.
The result for all three matches will be a 0-0 draw, as there is no opportunity to reschedule these fixtures.
Wide Bay Bulls v Western Clydesdales
The Harvey Norman Under 17 and Cyril Connell Cup matches scheduled to be played at Harvey Bay have been abandoned due to the weather and field conditions.
As there are no available fields in the Wide Bay or Toowoomba area, these games will be recorded as a 0-0 draw.
Bishop Park
Both Under 19 matches have been moved to the junior fields on Saturday, with the kick-off times brought forward by 20 minutes.
Harvey Norman Under 19: Norths Devils v Redcliffe Dolphins, 1.40pm
Mal Meninga Cup: Norths Devils v Northern Pride, 3pm
Hostplus Cup: Norths Devils v Northern Pride, 5pm (main field)
Wynnum Seagulls v Townsville Blackhawks
Due to the field conditions at Wynnum Juniors (Kitchener Park), Sunday’s Mal Meninga Cup match will now be played at BMD Kougari Oval. The match will kick off at 2pm on Sunday.
Mackay Cutters v Brisbane Tigers
The Mal Meninga Cup game has been moved to BB Print Stadium with the same kick off time.
