Cronulla will play the second half of their clash with the Wests Tigers without Mawene Hiroti after the centre suffered a knee injury.

Hiroti left the field late in the first half and was later ruled out for the rest of the match with a medial ligament injury. He was replaced by Daniel Atkinson who stepped into the centres.

Coach Craig Fitzgibbon said Hiroti is facing a stint on the sidelines, however he's optimistic fellow centre Kayal Iro will be available to return from a hamstring injury next weekend.

"He's got a medial," Fitzgibbon said. "I'm not sure the severity. He did it really early in the game and just couldn't function out there so we had to make a change.

"He'll be looking at some weeks on the sideline, exactly how many I'm not sure."

Wests Tigers hooker Api Koroisau left the contest during golden point, however coach Benji Marshall said the injury is not serious.

"He had a bit of a sore knee," Marshall said. "It can't have been that bad, after he went down he ran another 40m. Api will be fine, it didn't look too serious."

After a strong start to the game at GIO Stadium, Dolphins prop Daniel Saifiti was ruled out with a shoulder injury.

Saifiti had 11 runs for 118 metres and plunged over for a try in the opening 27 minutes but left the field soon after scoring and did not return.

Talking post-game, Dolphins coach Kristian Woolf said it's too early to know how long the prop could be sidelined for.

"They're thinking it might just have come out a little bit and gone back in," he said. "He's in a bit of pain. The doctor and physio thought it wasn't quite to go back out there. I'm not sure in terms of time frames or severity, what that looks like."

The Sharks head into their Sunday afternoon clash against Wests Tigers without Teig Wilton, who is nursing a shoulder injury.

Wilton damaged his shoulder against the Knights in Round 7 and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.

Prop Toby Rudolf is facing 6-8 weeks on the sidelines after suffering a syndesmosis injury in the win over the Knights.

In better news for the Sharks, Braden Hamlin-Uele returned to the field in NSW Cup against the Magpies after overcoming a knee cartilage injury.

Manly were dealt a blow on the eve of Saturday's win over Penrith, with Jason Saab and Josh Aloiai ruled out, while hooker Gordon Chan Kum Tong failed a HIA during the game.

Saab succumbed to an ankle injury while Aloiai was pushing to return from a shoulder injury suffered in Round 6 but failed to come up.

The Broncos opened ANZAC Round in style with a big win over the Bulldogs but a shoulder injury to Adam Reynolds took some of the gloss off the night.

Reynolds grabbed at his shoulder and spent a couple of minutes on the ground after coming down awkwardly when scoring a try in the first half.

The skipper stayed on the field and came up with some huge plays before again landing heavily on his shoulder in the 75th minute and coming off the field.

"It's pretty sore. It sort of went dead on me when I scored the try, pins and needles, and I got it pretty bad there on that last one," Reynolds told media post-match.

"It's OK now, but we'll have a look at it when we get back. The last one felt pretty bad, worse than when I scored the try.

"We'll get back to the club and see what the medical staff say but my aim is to play every game."

South Sydney's playmaking stocks have suffered a further blow with Cody Walker suffering a calf injury at training.

A club statement said the veteran playmaker had sustained a calf tear at training and was expected to be sidelined for five weeks.

Halfback Jamie Humphreys is unavailable due to a hamstring injury that the Rabbitohs said was set to keep him on the sideline for a further 2-3 weeks.

Rookie winger Tyrone Munro is continuing rehabilitation for a collarbone injury. He is expected to be sidelined for approximately six more weeks.

Broncos superstar Reece Walsh is in doubt for Queensland selection in Origin I due to a knee injury but fellow Maroon Harry Grant looks to be on track for the series opener.

With the Origin series opener to be played at Suncorp Stadium on May 28, Walsh is unlikely to play again before the Maroons squad is selected even if returns after four weeks.

A six-week stint on the sideline may even jeopardise his chances of selection for Origin II in Perth on June 18.

In better news for the Maroons, Storm hooker Grant is expected to be back from a hamstring injury against Wests Tigers in Round 10.

“Harry suffered a hamstring strain at last week’s captain’s run. He’ll miss the next two games, Anzac Day and then Magic Round. We’re hoping he’ll be back in time to face Wests Tigers," said Storm general manager of football Frank Ponissi.

The Knights lost Tyson Gamble for their trip across the Tasman to face the Warriors on ANZAC Day.

Gamble suffered a broken nose during the first half of last Sunday's clash with the Sharks and has undergone surgery. He hopes to be available for Magic Round.

Storm centre Jack Howarth is set to be sidelined for 4-6 weeks after dislocating his shoulder against the Dolphins while Tui Kamikamica is likely to miss the next two games with an ankle sprain.

In better news for the Storm, centre Nick Meaney returned from a facial fracture suffered in Round 3 and prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona returned to the field for Sunshine Coast Falcons in Round 7 of the Queensland Cup after an extended break with concussion issues.

Roosters forward Nat Butcher will be sent for scans after picking up a knee injury in the opening minutes of Saturday's clash with Penrith.

The prop lasted just 10 minutes before succumbing to a suspected MCL injury. He was ruled out of the remainder of the contest soon after, with scans required to determine the severity of the issue.

Dolphins veteran Felise Kaufusi has a strained medial ligament and will miss the trip to Canberra as will Jeremy Marshall-King, who sustained an infection in a gash on his thigh two weeks ago and will be given another week to ensure the cut heals properly.

“We really want to make sure Jeremy’s cut heals properly before he does anything, so the best way to look after him is to give him another week’s break,” said Head of Performance Jeremy Hickmans.
