The next generation of Pasifika playing talent will go on show with Junior QPICC kicking off on Saturday, October 19.
Junior players will showcase not only their playing skills, but also their culture at the Logan Metro Sports Complex event, with the competing nations to start the day with an opening ceremony filled with cultural performances.
The carnival is an opportunity for the youth of each competing Nation to deepen their understanding and experience of Pasifika culture, while games will take place in the Under 8, Under 10 and Under 12 age groups.
Junior QPICC is also fully QRL affiliated and sanctioned.
This year, the following organisations representing their nations will compete:
- Rugby League Samoa Queensland
- Queensland PNG Rugby League Inc

- Cook Island Rugby League Queensland
Just like the senior QPICC tournament, there will be stalls with island food and drinks.
