Queensland's four NRL clubs have joined forces with Queensland Wheelchair Rugby League for this year's QWRL State Cup.

Announced today, the Brisbane Broncos, North Queensland Cowboys, Dolphins NRL and Gold Coast Titans will be represented at the tournament, to be played on the Sunshine Coast.

A host of Queensland's top wheelchair rugby league stars will be in action, including Pete Arbuckle, Zac Schumacher and Bayley McKenna, with all three still riding high after their triumph over New South Wales in July's State Challenge.

"This exciting partnership between QWRL and these iconic clubs marks the beginning of a new era in inclusive rugby league and we couldn't be more proud to share this moment with you all," a QWRL media release stated.

"The 2024 State Cup is just the start of a bright future, where the clubs and QWRL will continue to work closely together to grow and elevate the sport for everyone."

With the support of the Sunshine Coast Council, the featured sides will battle it out at the QWRL State Cup at the UniSC Arena on October 25 and 26.
