The Norths Devils will look to claim another piece of history this Sunday when they head to New South Wales for the 2024 NRL State Championship.

The Devils claimed their third premiership in four years in the 2024 Hostplus Cup grand final, overcoming the Redcliffe Dolphins 34-20 at Kayo Stadium.

Now they will turn their attention to the Newtown Jets in the annual clash against the premiers of the NSW Cup.

Having lost 44-10 to the Penrith Panthers in 2022, the Devils will be keen to add a Championship to their recent run of Hostplus Cup trophies.

The last time a Hostplus Cup side won the NRL State Championship was in 2015 when the Ipswich Jets overcame the Newcastle Knights 26-12.

The NRL State Championship will kick off at 12.20pm in Queensland (1.20pm AEDT).

Hostplus Cup referee Jarrod Cole has been named as a touch judge for the match.
