Stage is set for first week of Hostplus Cup finals

Week one of the Hostplus Cup finals have been set, with all games leading up to the premiership decider to be shown live and free on Qplus.tv.

Following the end of Round 23, next weekend’s first taste of finals action will roll out across Queensland and beyond, with Cairns, Port Moresby, Rockhampton and Brisbane to play host.

The 2024 minor premiers in the Northern Pride will take on the fourth-placed Sunshine Coast Falcons in a blockbuster showdown on the Saturday, while the second-placed Norths Devils will meet local rivals Redcliffe Dolphins in the Sunday feature broadcast match, in what will be a highly-anticipated meeting at Bishop Park.

In the two elimination finals – both on the Saturday – Wynnum Manly Seagulls will travel to Papua New Guinea to take on the Hunters after coming in eighth and the Central Queensland Capras will host the Burleigh Bears, with all four teams fighting to live another day.

This year, all finals matches leading up to grand final day will be shown live and free on Qplus.tv.

Paid Qplus.tv subscriptions will be turned off throughout the finals, allowing existing subscribers to access the finals series for free.

Subscribers will still have access to all other paid content from season 2024 while new viewers can sign up for a free membership to watch all the live and free featured games.

This year’s Hostplus Cup grand final – played as part of the Queensland Rugby League grand final day, presented by Ford - will be shown exclusively on Fox League and Kayo.
