The Border Rugby League competition in 2024 has been the closest in the last number of years, with any of the four clubs worthy of a birth in this year’s grand final.

Texas captain-coach Cam Sweedman has some unfinished business after last year’s decider but he has gone about his business and it has been a tougher year as he has had to steer his side through many tight games in 2024.
The Terriers have speed out wide with Tristan Kerwick in tremendous form.
Up front, Beau Anderson is a seasoned player and his continued go-forward will be another key in the mach.
Macintyre Warriors should be congratulated for making their first grand final in the second year in the Border competition, but won't be satisfied with only that.
Andrew Williams, 48 is the captain-coach hoping to lead the side, featuring his 26-year-old son Tyler, to victory.
The Warriors have built their season on being strong right across the park.
Their players to watch are their halves pairing of Brandon McIntosh and Kerrod Sampson as well as lock Michael Dennison. Backrowers Harold Brown and Bobbie McGrady have been excellent on the edges.
Both coaches agree that patience and overcoming momentum changes will be the key. Completion rate will also be very important.
This will be a very close tussle to cap off a tremendous season.
