The XXXX Rivalry Round repeat was not a close weekend by any means, as team dominated their oppositions to take the two points.

With the closest scoreline a 12-point one between the Central Queensland Capras and Mackay Cutters, it was a high-scoring round that shook up the Hostplus Cup ladder.

And with so many points scored, players across the competition starred in a big way, with some mammoth statistics recorded.

Five-eighths in particular shone, with Jake Clifford, Luke Polselli and Josh James among three of the best, while Norths Devils second rower Oryn Keeley proved to be a metre-eater with 300 run metres against Souths Logan.

But captaincy honours this week went to a player on a losing team, with Mackay Cutters lock Sean Mullany putting in a performance to remember against the Capras.

Each round, Queensland Rugby League recognises the 17 best performers and names the Hostplus Cup Team of the Week, presented by Hostplus. These team selections are based not only on statistical data, but also take on board live and broadcast viewings of the games.
