Date set for 2024 Wheelchair State Challenge

The date has been locked in for Queensland's defence of the Wheelchair Rugby League State Challenge.

The highly-anticipated clash between Queensland and New South Wales will take place on Saturday, July 13, with the Construction Sciences Queensland Maroons getting the chance to claim their fourth straight title on home turf.

The State Challenge - this year aligned with naming partner, Cocoon SDA Care - will be played at Brendale's South Pine Sports Centre, in the Moreton Bay region.

Queensland wheelchair coach Jack Brown unveiled his team in March, with six players returning to the side after last year's triumph in Sydney.

The Queensland team have not lost since their first victory in the 2021 clash (played in January 2022 due to COVID-19), with the annual showdown taking place since 2015.

The Queensland team will also host a jersey presentation dinner the night before the match, with tickets available now.
