PPQ backs Maroons as Origin rivalry intensifies

Queenslanders are renowned for having each other’s backs at State of Origin time and that theme will be a feature of the Maroons’ 2024 campaign thanks to the ongoing support of Personalised Plates Queensland.

As the Maroons prepare for two fiercely contested series against New South Wales, Queensland Rugby League is buoyed by the news that PPQ will continue their partnership with the state’s premier rugby league teams.

The long-standing “we’ve got your back” partnership – which celebrates the essence of Queensland spirit both on and off the field – will feature heavily during Maroons’ training camps.

Each player’s name will appear in ‘plate speak’ displayed at the back of their training shirts, as well as training jerseys for both the Queensland Maroons and Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons squads.

Maroons team announcements on social media will also showcase the passion PPQ has for the Maroons and rugby league in Queensland.

In the lead up Game I, fans can step into the shoes of a selector by having a go at picking the Maroons line up, from fullback right through to the interchange bench.

Fans who get it right will go into a draw to win a signed Maroons jersey.

With this unrivalled support from the PPQ team, both Maroons sides will be inspired to produce their best in 2024.

State of Origin is regarded as sports greatest rivalry – and this year is about to go to a whole new level.

Men’s coach Billy Slater will go head-to-head with Blues mentor Michael Maguire for the first time, as the Maroons again look to inspire the people of Queensland.

For Tahnee Norris, there’s an incredible amount at stake as she prepares her team for a standalone match at Suncorp Stadium, the opening game of the first ever three-match women’s Origin series.

The women held their Fan Fest on Saturday and the men will hold their official fan day once in cam; the PPQ team will be giving out free QLD3R plate temporary tattoos and iron on stickers for fans to wear.

PPQ will also be on Caxton Street before Game III.
