The talent of the Harvey Norman Under 19 competition has shone this season.
As the competition moves into finals, there are many athletes and performances to be proud of from the seven weeks of the regular season.
Each week, one player was highlighted as the "weapon" of the round, highlighting the athletes of the Harvey Norman Under 19.
Now, as attention turns towards the upcoming finals series, it is time for the fans to decide which player deserves the title of "weapon of the year".
Voting is open now and closes on Monday, April 8 at 5pm, with the winner to be announced the following day on Tuesday, April 9.
The nominees - based off the weekly winners - are below.
Harvey Norman Under 19 weapons
Round 1: Relna Hosea (Brisbane Tigers)
The gun centre kickstarted her Harvey Norman Under 19 season in style, running in a hat-trick against the Redcliffe Dolphins in Round 1. Hosea - who is heading into the Harvey Norman Under 19 finals off the back of a successful Women's National Championships campaign with the Queensland Sapphires - also amassed 159 run metres in Round 1 and registered three tackle breaks and three line breaks.
What a weapon: Relna Hosea
Round 2: Reegan Hicks (Redcliffe Dolphins)
Redcliffe forward Hicks - who can play in the front row and second row - was key for the Dolphins hitting back in Round 2 for their first win of the season. In claiming the 26-20 victory over Burleigh, a barnstorming Hicks scored a try and set up another, notched up three tackle busts, three offloads, 87 run metres and 19 tackles.
What a weapon: Reegan Hicks
Round 3: Tiresa Elika (Brisbane Tigers)
The finals-bound Brisbane Tigers were one of the strongest performing teams all season, winning five out of six games. In Round 3 they smashed past the Souths Logan Magpies with a 40-10 win and Elika was a standout in this effort. The destructive lock was hard to contain and bagged a double in her side's victory.
What a weapon: Tiresa Elika
Round 4: Vaitafao-Gisele Masun-Feleti (Ipswich Jets)
Crafty little hooker Masun-Feleti was unstoppable in Round 4. Not only did she rack up a hat-trick against the Wide Bay Bulls but she ran a stunning 143 metres and recorded eight tackle breaks and three line breaks in an attacking masterclass.
What a weapon: Vaitafao-Gisele Masun-Feleti
Round 5: Deleni Paitai (Redcliffe Dolphins)
In Redcliffe's 32-18 Round 5 victory over the Souths Logan Magpies, silky centre Deleni Paitai was a sensation. She scored a hat-trick, smashed through seven tackle breaks, three line breaks and 64 run metres.
What a weapon: Deleni Paitai
Round 6: Libby Dunn (Western Clydesdales)
Destructive forward Dunn has been a key part of the Clydesdales' finals push this year. Round 6 was no different, with the towering prop putting in a stunning 39-minute performance. Dunn scored a try and recorded five tackle breaks, two offloads, one line break, one line break assist, 77 run metres and 12 tackles.
What a weapon: Libby Dunn
Round 7: Mersades Lawson (Mackay Cutters)
Little Mackay dynamo Lawson is another who has contributed greatly to her side's finals push. The playmaker finished the 2024 regular season strongly, making a great impact for her team in their 36-4 win over Central Queensland. Present everywhere on the field and aiming up in defence, Lawson finished with a try assist, a line break assist, a tackle break and 49 run metres.
