The Toowoomba Junior Rugby League (TJRL) proudly concluded yet another action-packed season with an exhilarating grand final day at the Toowoomba Sports Ground on Saturday, September 9.
In a day filled with spectacular displays of junior rugby league talent, passionate crowds, and nail-biting matches, the Toowoomba community came together to celebrate the future stars of the sport.
The grand final day showcased the remarkable achievements of Toowoomba juniors in girls' competitions, including the under 13s, 15s, and 17s.
Every player rose to the occasion on this grand stage, leaving spectators in awe of their dedication and skill.
Here are the highlights from the TJRL grand final day.
Under 13 Girls
The Pittsworth Danes emerged victorious with a remarkable 30-18 win over the Highfields Eagles. Josie Hollis of Pittsworth Danes was named Player of the Final for her outstanding performance.

Under 13 Boys
In a closely contested battle, the Souths Tigers secured a thrilling 14-10 victory over the Dalby Devils. Hunter Tate-Roche from Souths Tigers received the Player of the Final award.

Under 15 Girls
The Pittsworth Danes claimed the title with an 18-14 triumph over the Highfields Eagles. Ella Hollis from Pittsworth Danes was recognized as the Player of the Final.

Under 14 Boys
The Valleys Roosters emerged victorious with a final score of 34-28 against the Souths Tigers. Innes Nowlan of Souths Tigers was named Player of the Final.

Under 17 Girls
Souths Tigers dominated the match, overpowering the Highfields Eagles with a convincing 40-0 victory. Pypah Ferguson of Souths Tigers earned the Player of the Final title.

Under 13/14 Boys
Dalby Devils triumphed with a score of 12-6 over the Valleys Roosters. Blake Kingston from Dalby Devils received the Player of the Final award.

Under 15 Boys
In an electrifying showdown, the Valleys Roosters secured a thrilling 30-28 victory over the Gatton Hawks. Alastair Maclachlan of Valleys Roosters was named Player of the Final.

Under 16 Boys
Valleys Roosters emerged victorious with a score of 30-28 over the Dalby Devils. Tito Blight from South Burnett was awarded Player of the Final.
Valleys Roosters 30 (Darel Appo 2, Braithen Scott, William Emery, Samuel Lorenz tries; Braithen Scott 5 goals) defeated Dalby Devils 28 (Tito Bligh 2, Fletch Prain, Shamus Cobbo, Thomas Beil tries; Harrison Braithwaite 3, Tito Bligh goals).
Under 17 Boys
The Dalby Devils finished their junior rugby league season in style, defeating the Souths Tigers 26-18. Lyucian King-Togia of Dalby Devils received the Player of the Final accolade.
Dalby Devils 26 (Benjamin Waters, Matthew Drews, Joey Sankey, Daniel O’Callaghan, Quincy Booker tries; Joey Sankey 3 goals) defeated Souths Tigers 18 (Jake Hatton, Tait Cameron, Daniel Nilsson tries; Tait Cameron 3 goals).
In a special moment, the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs were present to honour each final player with an award and a gift from the Bulldogs, adding to the significance of the grand final day.
