Rugby League Gold Coast junior preliminary finals for took place at Robina Raptors Junior Rugby League Club on Saturday, September 2. Burleigh Bears took out a thrilling golden point extra time match 26-24 over Ormeau in the Under 15 Division 2 clash (pictured). They will play Tugun in the grand final day at Beaudesert on September 9. Other preliminary final winners included Runaway Bay (Under 14 Division 1 - to play Coomera in grand final), Burleigh (Under 15 Division 1 - to play Southport in the grand final), Currumbin (Under 16 Division 1 - to play Beaudesert in the grand final), Ormeau (Under 16 Division 2 - to play Southport in the grand final), Currumbin (Under 18 Division 1 - to play Burleigh in the grand final) and Burleigh (Under 18 Division 2 - to play Beaudesert in the grand final).
