After two weeks off, the Hasting Deering Colts competition resumes in Round 13, starting with the Wynnum Manly Seagulls and Sunshine Coast Falcons on Saturday.
Both clubs are coming off massive wins - but the effect of the win plus two weeks off will be worth watching.
With four games left before finals, third versus seventh will be significant for both clubs.
Twelve months ago was the last time they played each other and the Wynnum Manly had all the running with a huge 58-6 win.
In Round 12, Wynnum Manly started well and never let the pressure up against the Norths Devils, coming away 74-24 winners.
The Seagulls led 48-6 at half-time in a dominant display led by front row forward Beni Allen. Allen scored the first two tries for the Seagulls.

Thirteen tries and 11 goals later the Seagulls had completely destroyed the Devils.
With 14 line breaks and 67 fewer tackles, the Seagulls ran riot. John Radel made 30 tackles, Sefa Roache-Faimalo made 213 metres and Jeremy Trappett made four line breaks.
Jordan Davies added extras with 11 goals, taking his tally for the season to 67 points.
Wynnum Manly coach Daryl Short is ready to go after the break.
“The group is well grounded so they don’t tend to get ahead of themselves, we took the learnings and moved past that game quickly,” Short said.
“We trained as normal, nearly every member in the group played footy somewhere in this period, it was business as usual.
“There are no real standouts. What impresses me is the group's commitment to train, improve and enjoy their time with us.”
In Cairns it was the Falcons having all the fun against the Northern Pride. The Falcons came home with 86 points in the for column of the table.
The Falcons had 61 per cent of the ball, 15 line breaks and 44 tackle breaks but the most pleasing thing will be the nearly non-existent missed tackles.
The Falcons only missed nine.
Blake Ginman made 22 tackles and Elliot Smethills made 299 run metres. Mason Peut broke the line five times and scored five tries. Peut now has 15 tries in 2023 in a phenomenal effort.
Sunshine Coast coach Cameron Boaza can see positives from the break.
“Everyone is dealing with the two-week break... the big win is a bit different but we just keep working hard and not get too far ahead of ourselves,” Boaza said.
“Wynnum Manly are always strong and they are coming off a big win too so just have to have a look at their last few weeks and plan for them.
“Blake Ginman has been great for us and our superstar centre Mason Peut has been terrific.”
