QRL staff gathered at the Brisbane office on Thursday, June 1 for a morning tea to learn more about National Reconciliation Week, this year's theme 'Be a Voice for Generations' and the role of our Indigenous Advisory Committee in driving QRL policies to ensure positive experiences for the 20 per cent of people identifying as First Nations peoples playing rugby league in Queensland. Queensland Rugby League respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
