Adventure awaits fans following P&O Cruises partnership renewal

The Queensland Rugby League is teaming up with P&O Cruises Australia to create unique and rewarding fan experiences following a partnership extension that brings together two of Queensland’s favourite pastimes – State of Origin and cruising.

The partnership renewal will see P&O maintain their association as the official membership partner of the Queensland Maroons.

Like the Maroons when they take the field, proud partner P&O has displayed incredible resilience during recent times.

QRL chief executive officer Rohan Sawyer acknowledged P&O’s resolve during the challenging times.

“P&O's unwavering support of the Queensland Maroons and our members during this time means it is our turn to support them and we hope our fans and members get on board with the great range of cruises on offer,” Sawyer said.

As the heartland of cruising, P&O Cruises Australia have been backing the QRL and the Maroons since 2019, and now they’re gearing up to ensure more Queenslanders can enjoy the sailing experience.

In 2023 and 2024, members and fans will have the opportunity to go on the following two QRL Members and Fans Group cruises:

Pre-season

• Pacific Encounter
• Saturday, January 21, 2023 (three nights, 4pm departure)
• Join Maroons legends and stars on board, including Petero Civoniceva, Tamika Upton, Lauren Brown and Meg Ward, plus more to be announced
• Special events will include exclusive Maroons Members and Fans Cocktail party, Maroons Q&A and signing event, PLUS
• All 2022 or 2023 Maroons Members will receive $100 bonus onboard credit per room, just for their commitment and passion for Queensland Rugby League

Post-season

• Pacific Encounter
• December 5, 2023 (four nights and Airlie Beach only one day)
• Expect the same level of legendary talent and exclusive Maroons Members and fan events
