XXXX League Championship final: Everything you need to know

The time has come for one community league in Queensland to be crowned the best of 2022.

The XXXX League Championship grand final between Townsville and the Gold Coast Vikings will be played this weekend after months of lead up.

The Gold Coast qualified back in early May, after they beat Brisbane and Ipswich for the XXXX Chairman's Challenge title.

Townsville took a different path, first overcoming Cairns and Mackay in the Foley Shield, before travelling down to Rockhampton to eliminate the Rustlers in the XXXX League Championship semi-final.
