The Queensland Construction Sciences Maroons have unveiled their 2022 line-up, as they ramp up preparations to defend their Wheelchair State of Origin title.
The Queensland team claimed a strong 50-30 victory over New South Wales in the 2021 interstate showdown, which was held in January this year after the original match was postponed due to Sydney's COVID lockdowns.
The 2022 Bravery Trust State of Origin will be held on Saturday, July 23, at Townsville Stadium from 4.15pm, in what is a huge representative year, with the Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup also taking place in November.
The Australian Wheelchair Rugby League team, the Wheelaroos, recently signed Brisbane-based financial services company Skyring as a platinum and naming rights sponsor for the Rugby League World Cup.
There are a lot of familiar faces in this year's Queensland side, including veteran Peter Arbuckle, as well as the 2022 co-captains Shaun Harre and Zac Schumacher.

Preparations are well underway for the clash, with a fundraising dinner to also be held the night before the match in Townsville, to raise money for the World Cup-bound Skyring Australian Wheelaroos.
