Tom Weaver's achievements as a junior footballer are too large to list.
The local junior and Palm Beach Currumbin State High School product finished 2021 with selection at halfback in the Australian Schoolboys side.
Now, he begins life as an NRL footballer.
Weaver has started pre-season at the IKON High Performance Centre as he now focusses on life as a Titan.
"I'm just looking forward to get to know all the boys," Weaver said.
"I started off in the JTS program when I was 14-years-old and now I'm taking a step forward and joining the big boys."
The teenager has followed a similar path to Titans halfback Toby Sexton and he sees the 20-year-old as someone he can model his game on.
"He (Sexton) went to PBC, went through there and then made Queensland Schoolboys and Australian Schoolboys and then took the big step up (to NRL) so I'm looking forward to learning off him," Weaver said.
"I'm looking forward to learning off him and taking as much in as possible and hopefully taking my game forward.
"Also my past coach at PBC Brad Davis, he played halfback as well, so I'm looking forward to getting to learn off him again."
Weaver is locked in for the long term on the Gold Coast, with his contract taking him through to 2024.
He'll get a chance to meet his more experienced team-mates when they return for pre-season over the coming weeks.
