Rugby League Gold Coast QTOP senior grand final day is kicking off today, with four huge games of rugby league on the menu.
All the matches will be played at Cbus Super Stadium, with gates opening at 11.15am. The first match will start at 12noon, with the A Grade match between Burleigh Bears and Tugun Seahawks starting at 5.30pm.
The Bears were the minor premiers this season and have been led well this year by co-captains Reece Summer and Jordan Scott, with the squad working hard to earn the opportunity to avenge their close loss to Runaway Bay in last year’s decider.
Standing in their way in the fight for title glory are the Seahawks, with skipper Will Johnstone and his players keen to turn around their fortunes against the Bears where they have lost three times this season.
There is plenty on the line for both clubs, who will also feature in grand finals earlier in the day, with the Bear contesting the QTOP Under 20 decider against Runaway Bay and the Seahawks in action in the QTOP DLC Reserve Grade final against Currumbin Eagles.
