The Gold Coast Titans have unveiled five big signings ahead of the start of the NRLW season.
Destiny Brill, Tiana Raftstrand-Smith, Shannon Mato and Karli Hansen will all wear the Titans jersey in season 2021, while MyPayNow have signed on as Principal Partner for the inaugural NRLW side.
After joining the Titans in 2021 as a Premier Partner, MyPayNow General Manager Nic Bennetts says the Gold Coast based company is excited to move into the Principal Parnter role with the women's program.
"Our brand and our goals really align, especially with the NRLW team," Bennetts said.
"We are both breaking new ground and stepping into new territory and trying to pave the way for the future generations to come through.
"I think this is a monumental step in the right direction.
"It just means even more being so close to home, we are a Gold Coast family company supporting a Gold Coast team so anything we can do within the community to bolster and strengthen that relationship is huge."
Part of the Queensland side that won the State of Origin series in 2021, Destiny Brill says she is excited about representing the Gold Coast community.
"It (the decision to join the Gold Coast) was about friends and being able to experience being coached by Jamie Feeney who is also the assistant coach of the Jillaroos.
"The past month has been really hectic (with Origin) and I haven't really had time to settle down, but I'm really excited.
"I can't wait to get around the girls and meet new people.
"I've played with most of the girls before, but probably Shannon (Mato) is one I'm looking forward to playing with because we've got a close bond.
"I think fans will be excited to just experience the first NRLW Titans team and I think people will really get around us."
Karli Hansen was one of the stars of the New Zealand Ferns in their 2020 test match against Samoa, while Tiana Raftstrand-Smith and Shannon Mato featured alongside Brill in Queensland successful Origin campaign.
