The Fringe Dudes Episode 12: Bright sparks and a classic grand final ft. Ethan Bullemor

What a way to close the BHP Premiership season, with the Burleigh Bears showing their class and experience to break the hearts of newcomers Valleys Diehards in a grand final that had it all.

Round 9 of the Intrust Super Cup also had plenty to great matches - as well as another hat-trick on debut - this time to Townsville Blackhawks back Luke Geary.

Each week, QRL content producers Jorja Brinums, Cameron Stallard and I, Colleen Edwards, will explore Queensland's top rugby league competitions - the Intrust Super Cup and BHP Premiership - and will introduce fans to different players and officials from across the competitions.

This week, we are also joined by the QRL's media services executive Emma Cunnington at the desk, to chat all things Queensland Rugby League.

This week's episode takes a look back at Sunday’s epic BHP Premiership decider and some of the key plays and players, many who are gunning for selection in this year's Harvey Norman Queensland Maroons squad.

In the Intrust Super Cup, some of the competition’s top performers stepped up in Round 9, with Wynnum Manly continuing their unbeaten run thanks to a masterclass from Jayden Berrell; meanwhile, the trend of debutants scoring a plethora of four-pointers continued with Geary's three-try bonanza.

The special guest for the weekly 20 questions is the Brisbane Broncos and Norths Devils forward Ethan Bullemor, who has been playing well this year.
