Top Aussie artists bringing their charms to Magic Round

Leading Australian artists Busby Marou, Stafford Brothers and Sneaky Sound System will entertain Magic Round fans off the field, while the players handle the razzle dazzle on Suncorp Stadium.

Sneaky Sound System are booked to play two sets on the Telstra stage on Friday night (May 14) for the double-header between Wests Tigers and the Knights, followed by the Sea Eagles and Broncos.

"We hear there’s a bit of a party going on at the NRL Magic Round, and we can’t wait to get it started," the band said in a statement.

Then Stafford Brothers will play three sets on Saturday (May 15), while Busby Marou also have three sets on Sunday (May 16) - both days feature triple-headers involving the remaining 12 NRL clubs.

Which NRL player will light up Magic Round?

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo said the colour and vibrancy of NRL Magic Round Brisbane would be unmatched in 2021.

"Magic Round is a weekend like no other – 272 players, 16 teams and 8 games all at Suncorp Stadium,"’ he said.

"It's a real carnival and we have hand-picked Australian artists who bring enormous energy to the stage, which will add to the incredible entertainment on the field.

"Magic Round is about the fans. It gives our fans the opportunity to get closer to our players and our activations inside the fan zone will provide incredible insight into our game," Abdo said.

"We're really excited to be returning to Brisbane as a three-day festival of genuine entertainment on and off the field."

What’s your magic Suncorp moment?

Special in-stadium activations will include the Ampol Deck, the Bundaberg Rum Balcony Deck, and the Chemist Warehouse Deck.

The NRL has also organised fan engagements for the precinct outside the stadium, known as The Magic Garden.

One of those will be a chill-out zone where supporters can watch all eight matches on the big screen.

Tickets are available for Magic Round, delivered by KFC, via nrl.com/tickets.
