Treymain Spry got a taste of first grade with the Titans in 2020 and it has him hungry for more in 2021.
The big winger/centre has been with the club since 2019 and spent that year in Intrust Super Cup with the Tweed Head Seagulls, but grabbed his opportunity in 2020, notching up five appearances in his debut NRL season.

"That was a surreal moment for me and my family, it was always a dream to debut (in the NRL) and to do it at Cbus was even better and all my family came up which was even better. Spry said.
"All my family, Mum, Dad, brother, cousins, family friends and all that came to watch. It was good.
After creating three linebreaks and three try assists in only five games in 2020, Spry is areal attacking threat at the Titans disposal.
Clearly Spry is hungry for more tries as well, after scoring one and having one disallowed in his first season.
"I got just the one (try), but one got disallowed at Manly, but the one was good to get."
As he enters his third pre-season with the club, Spry is enjoying the environment on the Gold Coast at the moment and, like many of his teammates, is striving hard to be there on the team sheet for Round 1.
"It's been good. It was a tough first day back (after the Christmas break).
"Before Christmas it was good to be back and meet the new guys.
"I am in the backs so we have been doing skills individually, catch, pass and all of that kind of stuff as a back 5 and Jimmy (Dymock) has been helping us out a lot." Spry said.
With that taste of first grade, Spry has a simple goal for the coming season.
"Just to get better from last year and give that first grade spot a real crack and hopefully make round 1.
"If not (in the team for Round 1), play some good footy back in Cup (Intrust Super Cup) and hopefully get a good crack throughout the year.
And where does he want to play this year?
"Centre, wing, I don't mind, if I am in the squad, it is good.
