Easts Tigers, who will be under the guidance of new coach Craig Hodges, have been on a re-signing and signing spree; most notably signing Ipswich Jets weapon Michael 'Kangaroo Catcher' Purcell, welcoming back Linc Port and signing 2019 grand finalist with Wynnum Manly Seagulls Jayden Berrell.
Northern Pride have also re-signed a large contingent of players and signed up a few fresh faces. Pride have signed North Queensland Cowboys gun Javid Bowen, Penrith Panthers talent Nick Lui-Toso, Rod Griffin from Townsville Blackhawks and Josh Stuckey from Canberra Raiders.
More and more signings can be expected from all clubs as they look to improve on season 2019 and win the premiership in 2020.
