The top performers from the Queensland Under 16 City versus Country clash, which saw Country run out 44-4 winners, have been recognised with selection in the Queensland Under 16 merit team.
Queensland Rugby League Representative Programs and Female Elite Pathways Manager Mitchell Constance said he looked forward to seeing all players who took part in the development and education camp in the lead up to the clash, reflect on the experience and set their sights on inclusion in future QAS and State of Origin programs
Of those selected in the merit team, Country star Jeremia Nanai was named man of the match and player's player and City star Tyler Keogh-Paladin was named City's player's player.
