Week three of the finals Cairns Districts series produced some thrilling action, with defending premiers Mossman-Port Douglas ending Atherton's grand final hopes 32-28 to set up a showdown with Innisfail in the decider. In Reserve Grade, Brothers eliminated Yarrabah with a convincing 38-8 win and will face Mossman-Port Douglas in the grand final, while in the Cairns Brothers Under 18 side ended Ivanhoes season with a 38-28 win and will face Edmonton.
