It will be a 'battle of the coasts' on Sunday when the Sunshine Coast Falcons travel to Pizzey Park on the Gold Coast to face the Burleigh Bears in their Intrust Super Cup preliminary final.
The Falcons won their way into week three of the finals after shaking off a spirited Easts Tigers side who nearly stole an upset thanks to some inspired play from five-eighth Billy Walters.
The Redcliffe Dolphins were the other team eliminated this weekend after going down to the Wynnum Manly Seagulls. The defending premiers didn't go down without a fight however, coming back from 14-0 down at halftime to just miss out 20-16.
