Intrust Super Cup grand final day will this year feature an expanded program of five exciting games across junior, youth and senior levels.
The bumper schedule represents a massive win for rugby league fans, who from today can secure their tickets to the September 29 showcase at Dolphin Stadium.
QRL chief operating officer Rohan Sawyer said the game-day program represented great value for money with family passes available for as little as $40.
“We’re extremely excited about the program we’ve been able to put together,” Sawyer said.
“With the quality of talent on display and with so much on the line in each game, we expect tickets to sell fast and the full-house sign to go up.
“This would generate a superb atmosphere, as Dolphin Stadium is a purpose-built rugby league venue that is perfectly suited to hosting an event like this.”
Sawyer confirmed the Intrust Super Cup premiership decider would kick off at 3.10pm, closing out the rugby league extravaganza.
Gates open at 8.15am, with the NRL Development Cup final to kick off proceedings.
The match-up between the southern and northern primary school champions will be followed by the inaugural Under 16 clash between City and Country.
Some of the best emerging talent in the country will then take the field for the highly-anticipated clash between the Australian Schoolboys and Junior Kiwis.
The penultimate game brings together the two best teams in the Hastings Deering Colts competition.
