Outback to NRL - Part 2: choosing a healthy lifestyle

Former Outback turned NRL stars Kurt Mann, Luke Bateman and Kurt Capewell have shared more advice for young juniors hoping to to achieve their best in the latest Outback to NRL episode.

In Part 2, the players speak about the importance of good nutrition to make sure your body can achieve your goals on and off the field.

"It helps if you fuel the body with the right stuff, and keeping it hydrated is probably key to that too," Capewell said.

Bateman also said it was a good move to learn how to cook the meals you would need to eat in order to play well.

"You have got to know how to cook yourself; I was lucky growing up, my mum always taught me how to cook, so I like to think of myself as being pretty handy in the kitchen, so I always cook myself lunch and dinner," the Raiders forward said.
