Queensland Rugby League have thrown their support behind the Men of League Foundation ahead of Round 11 of the Intrust Super Cup this weekend.
All 14 teams will swap their team socks for a pair in the distinctive Men of League colours in a bid to help the men, women and children of the rugby league community.

With matches set to be held in Townsville, Ipswich, Cairns, Mackay, Brisbane, Papua New Guinea and on the Gold Coast, the Men of League Foundation is excited ahead of what is great exposure across the state.
Men of League Foundation’s Queensland General Manager Andrew Blucher said the support from QRL was vital to furthering the impact of the Foundation on the rugby league community.
“It’s fantastic to have this initiative in place,” Blucher said.
“Footy socks are such an important part of the uniform and we’re looking forward to seeing each of the players resplendent in our colours.
“This is just another example of QRL’s continued support of our Foundation and everything we do.”
In addition to the Intrust Super Cup, teams in the Hastings Deering Colts competition, for up-and-coming rugby league stars under 20, will also don the special socks.
“This weekend is going to be a fantastic festival of footy with some very good matchups scheduled to take place,” Blucher said.
“The feature match on Sunday is a particularly exciting one - Norths and Wynnum are both coming off big wins and are fighting for a place in the top two with half the season left to go.
“Watching the teams walk out in their Men of League socks is going to be fantastic.”
