Harvey Norman Queensland Country team announced

Following a thrilling 22-16 win to the Central Crows over the Northern Marlins in Mackay this afternoon, the Harvey Norman Queensland Country Women's team has been announced.

Coach Alan McIndoe said today's matches made the selection of the team difficult.

"There was some extraordinary footy played in both the Emerging Women's and Women's games today and I'm extremely pleased with the talent that was displayed," he said.

"Many players selected themselves through their ability, but as always, there are positions that are contentious with a number of talented players making the selection process difficult."

Finishing third last year, the side have their sights set on qualifying for a maiden grand final berth at this year's Harvey Norman National Women's Championships hosted at Pizzey Park, Burleigh on Thursday, May 30 - Sunday, June 2.
