After finishing the 2018 season outside the top six in ninth place on the ladder, Souths Logan Magpies have been making some big moves on the recruitment front.
The Brisbane Broncos feeder club have announced the signatures of experienced try-scoring duo Linc Port and Matt Soper-Lawler for the 2019 season.
Linc Port (pictured below) joins Souths Logan Magpies after enjoying a successful 2018 season with Melbourne Storm feeder club Easts Tigers.
Port has consistently been one of the competition's top try scorers, and finished last season with 14 tries in 23 regular season appearances (sixth highest try scorer).
Soper-Lawler joins the Magpies after spending the past two seasons with another Melbourne Storm feeder club in the Sunshine Coast Falcons. Much like Port, Soper-Lawler is one of the competition's leading try scorers, having crossed for 13 tries in 21 regular season appearances (10th highest try scorer) in 2018.
Souths Logan have also managed to secure the services of experienced Wynnum Manly Seagulls forward Mitch Frei, and talented Norths Devils live-wire Gerome Burns.
