The Country side have named experienced coaches Alan McIndoe (head coach) and Alby Anderson (assistant coach) to guide the side.
Both are the respective coaches of the Northern and Central teams and collectively bring an enormous amount of knowledge with them to the positions.
“After leading a strong campaign last year that saw a number of players from the Country region impress at the carnival, Alan was seen as the natural choice to continue building on those foundations and to drive the Country team to improve on their fourth-place finish in the 2018 competition,” Northern Division (Region) Manager Scott Nosworthy said of their appointment.
They will be joined in the staff group by Kristy McClellan and by Kym Mahon and Ron Tasker who both have had past experience with Queensland representative teams including the Queensland Women’s team and Murri Under 16 side respectively.
