The Dolphins have announced two key signings for the 2019 season.
The club are confident they have found in Mackay front rowers Jordan Grant and Nick Brown the men to replace the departing Sam Anderson and Toby Rudolf.
Grant is a strongly built front rower with good attacking skills who knows his way to the try line. Originally a Penrith junior, Grant won the Mackay Cutter's Player of the Year award this year.
Nick Brown hails from Maryborough and has spent time in the North Queensland Cowboys system. He also comes to the 2018 premiers on the back of a strong year with the Cutters. Brown will be 23 next year and can also play lock and in the second row. He has a strong running game and enjoys the physical nature of playing in the middle.
General Manager of Football Grant Cleal said filling the void left by Anderson and Rudolf has been high on the list of priorities for a couple of months.
"We have re-signed most of the Premiership squad but needed some strong replacements," he said.
"I am really excited to have Nick and Jordan for 2019. The two were in the thick of both games we played this year against the Cutters which were very physical games.
"They definitely suit our style of play."
Brown will start training on November 12 with the rest of the squad while Grant has already begun pre-season training with the Broncos as part of the affiliation agreement with the two clubs.
Redcliffe Dolphins have also recently announced the departure of fan favourite Nick Slyney.
