Golden Boot nominees announced for 2018

Kangaroos stars Boyd Cordner, James Tedesco and Valentine Holmes and Tonga pair Jason Taumalolo and Siosiua Taukeiaho are in contention for the prestigious 2018 RLIF Men's Golden Boot award after being named on the initial list of contenders.

Jillaroos trio Brittany Breayley, Ali Brigginshaw and Isabelle Kelly are vying with Kiwi Ferns superstar Honey Hireme for the 2018 RLIF Women's Golden Boost award.

The nominations were determined by a panel of experts drawn from the rugby league media across the world and further names will be added after this weekend.

The RLIF Golden Boot recognises the most outstanding performances in full international matches throughout the year.

This year the award will cover all full international games played from the 2017 World Cup final until November 4, including the first two Tests of the upcoming England-New Zealand series.
