After five packed days on the road; the last morning on the QRL's Drought Relief Tour saw the boys test out the Roma golf course and speak at the Men of League golf day fundraising event.
Their annual golf day helps raise funds to allow Men of League to continue their good work in the community; assisting the men, women and children involved in the game.
AAM Investor Group sponsored nine holes of the golf day and also organised a donation of $5000 to the NRL State of Mind program which was thankfully received by former NRL player Clinton Toopi (images in gallery below).
While the touring party were not able to stay the whole day; Chris Walker and Mick Crocker were special guests at the pre-function and were interviewed by Chairman of the Roma District Rugby League Club Peter Flynn who asked them about the tour.
Both expressed how grateful they were to have been asked to join the goodwill initiative; detailing some of the highlights of the trip.
Toopi and former Easts and Rabbitohs great Robert 'Rocky' Laurie (who attended the event at the invitation of his friend, former Rabbitoh hard-hitter and Roma producer Charlie Frith) also entertained the crowd with stories from their playing careers.
