New faces in the PNG Prime Minister's 13 team

The PNG Prime Minister’s 13 team to take on Australia’s PM13 side on October 6 has been announced with a number of Intrust Super Cup stars set to feature.

Coached by Michael Marum; there are some notable omissions with Bears skipper Luke Page missing out due to work commitments; while Hunters captain Ase Boas was also not named as he is still dealing with the effects of his earlier injuries.

Damaging Hunters winger Junior Rau was also not considered as he is serving a suspension.

The new faces in the side are headlined by former NQ Cowboys-contracted halfback Kyle Laybutt (pictured above) who played with the Mackay Cutters this season.

The team will play the Australian Prime Minister's XIII in Port Moresby on October 6.
