Rugby League Brisbane finals guide: junior + senior

It's a massive weekend for Rugby League Brisbane begins today as junior and senior finals kick off across the city.

There will be 12 grand finals and 12 preliminary finals take place across six different venues in junior divisions from Under 12s through to Under 18s throughout the weekend.

Brandon Park, Ken Hayward Oval, Ian Clarkson Field, Grosvenor Park, Bora Ring and South Pine Sports Albany Creek will all play host to four finals each across the day tomorrow (Sunday, September 9).

Logan Brothers and Redcliffe are the most heavily represented clubs, with teams each making finals appearances.

In seniors, the Cross River Challenge finals will be played across three grades at Emerson Park on Saturday.

The Division 1 final will see Normanby take on Bulimba Valleys, while Division 2 features North Lakes and Greenbank. The Division 3 has Aspley taking on Beenleigh for the title.

Finally, in the BRL seniors competitions - the BRL A Grade In Safe Hands Cup, Reserve Grade and Under 21s will participate in preliminary finals at WJ Scott Park today (Saturday, September 8).

The Panthers take on the Seagulls in BRL A Grade In Safe Hands preliminary final, Wynnum Manly face West Brisbane in Reserve Grade and St Brendans take on Wynnum Manly in Under 21s.

The BRL grand finals will take place on Saturday, September 15 at Bishop Park.
