With two tries and 13 goals from his last two games, former Queensland junior wizard Chris Sandow will help steer Moranbah into the Mackay and District Rugby League finals this weekend.
A former Queensland Under 19 and Under 17 representative, as well as Indigenous All Star, Sandow has played all 17 fixture games for Moranbah this season.
The 190-game NRL and Super League player will suit up for the Miners versus the Whitsunday Brahmans at 3pm on Sunday at the Mackay Junior Rugby League Grounds.
Also featuring for the Miners will be well-travelled former Intrust Super Cup player Jim Baira, who in recent years helped Cloncurry to a premiership in the Mount Isa league.
Moranbah is coming off two wins in a row, having beaten Magpies 30-22 last weekend, and Sarina 66-16 the week before to end the season in third place
Whitsunday finished in second, with two more competition points, however Wests were clear premiers.
In this Sunday's other A Grade final, Brothers will face Magpies at 1pm at the MJRL Grounds in the elimination final.
Brothers qualified for their first finals campaign in six years with a dramatic 36-6 win over Souths that simultaneously dumped their opponents out of the top 5.
The winner of Brothers v Magpies will face the loser of Whitsunday v Moranbah, while the winner from Whitsunday v Moranbah will face Wests for a direct passage to the grand final.
