Some of Rugby League Ipswich's junior clubs have been treated to visits from some local heroes as part of the Brisbane Broncos Rewards Nights.
Across recent weeks, juniors from the Brisbane Valley Bulls, Springfield Panthers and Swifts RLFC have all enjoyed visits from the Broncos as part of their annual program.
Nearly 300 young players in total were treated to the rewards nights where they got to mingle with NRL players, get photos and autographs while learning some new skills as well.
The likes of Anthony Milford, Joe Ofahengaue (Brothers Ipswich junior), Gehamat Shibasaki, Patrick Mago, Jake Turpin (Brothers Ipswich junior), Thomas Flegler and Patrick Carrigan all made appearances at the rewards nights.
NRL Game Devlopment Officer for the South East Queensland Steve Brown said all junior clubs will get a chance to host Broncos Rewards Nights in the coming years.
"We run three Broncos Rewards Nights each year," he said. "This year, Brisbane Valley, Swifts and Springfield were selected.
"Next year we will select three more and so on until we have been around all 13 clubs, then we'll start again.
"Each club supplies around 100 junior players to participate in skills rotations and then get signatures and photos with the players. It is something special for the junior players for playing club rugby league."
Rugby League Ipswich representatives said they wished to thank the Broncos for allowing so many of their players to mingle with their juniors and extended their thanks to all club and local officials who helped facilitate each of the three nights.
