The QRL South East Queensland region has named the players who will participate in the 2018 City-Country Cultural Exchange Program.
Teams from Under 13s (Red and White), Under 14s (Red and White) and Under 16s will all represent the region this coming weekend from June 29 (today) to July 1 at Coolum Colts JRLFC, Ronny Cargill Oval.
The QRL's City-Country exchange program is a recognition program and is unique in that it identifies rugby league participation as the crucial eligibility criteria.
Players for this program are nominated by their respective clubs in accordance with an established criteria. This procedure is based on the player's behaviour, club loyalty, contribution to the club, and also to a variety of aspects within the game of rugby league.
This weekend also allows the Division to assess team staff to gauge their suitability for recognition and appointment to higher pathway player programs in the future.
Congratulations to all the players and officials nominated for this year's program.
