Melbourne Storm man mountain Christian Welch has jetted into Sydney tonight to join Camp Maroon as part of Queensland's Emerging program.
The 195cm prop was a member of the QAS Emerging Origin squad that gathered in January, as was Cowboy finisher Kyle Feldt, who joined camp on Tuesday (June 19).
Welch, a former Easts Tiger, will gain valuable exposure to a Maroons' Origin preparation, including taking part in the captain's run at ANZ Stadium on Saturday (June 23).
That will be the team's final session before Game II on Sunday night.
